Barbershop or salon?

If a girl walked into a barbershop and asked for a short haircut, how would most barbers react?

I really, really want to get my hair cut short, but I'm afraid that a stylist in a salon would try to talk me out of it or else wouldn't cut it short enough.

I own a Barber/Salon and I would advise you to go to a salon. a Barber can give you a great mens cut but most are not that skilled at short womans styles. Best advise and some people find this hard to do. ASK. Simply walk up to any woman with short hair style and say, " My that is a nice cut, were do you go to get it cut?" See that was pretty easy. But seriously ask women you see with short cuts you don't even have to like the style just help you find a new stylist. Good luck.

why would a salon stylist talk you out of it? They loove cutting hair and they will help you choose the best style. Just show them loooots of pictures and tell them EXACTLY what you want and dont want. They'll be happy to help you!
