Please HELP, I have a really stupid question for you. I want thick side-swept bangs...?

I have been wanting side-swept bangs for 2 years but my mom kept cutting them wrong so I have decided to go to a hair salon instead. I am waiting for my bangs to grow out.

They are thick (the bangs I am growing out) and I don't know if I'm gonna make sense when I ask this, but when the stylist cuts my bangs, will they cut only a little of the bangs I grew out or all the bangs I grew out into side-swept bangs?

Because they might think they are too thick and leave a little of the bangs to grow out with the rest of my hair. I know that sounds stupid, but I've never been to a hair salon before so I don't know what they do.

And how do I know if the stylist is going to cut my bangs right? Because I am so sick of waiting for my bangs to grow out and I don't wanna have to grow them out again!

And I'm bringing them a picture of what I want, will that help?

If you're avatar picture is kinda describing what you mean then I can probably help. My hair is like that right now and to make it like the way the way you want it here's what you do. Wait for both sides of your bangs to grow long, just at about the bttom fo your nose and then when it is use extra volume shampoo to make it thicker and then separate down the middle of your bangs. Then you sweep it to the sides! Also you can a picture of how you want it to look to the hair stylist.

I cut hair and when people bring pictures it helps out alot. The only thing to remember is that most likely your hair wont turn out exactly like the picture because everyone's hair texture is different.

When I cut bangs on people I start out with a small amount of hair and make sure that they like them. If they do I can cut more, if they dont its easier to hide and grow out a small amount of bangs rather than alot. Also dont have them cut them blunt, have them slide the scissors when they cut them if that makes any sense.
