Can I go back to get more hair cut off?

I *think* I have a pretty good relationship with my stylist, but she's never given me an unacceptable haircut before this one. She just didn't cut enough off. Am I allowed to call her up a couple days later and ask if she can cut more off? Or would I have to consider this a whole 'nother haircut and pay $60 all over again? I really like her and don't want to piss her off. I just don't know what's the acceptable thing to do in this situation.

If you were a stylist, would/do you grumble when clients call back with stuff like this?

Can I go back to get more hair cut off?

well some stylists actually like for you to tell them what you actually think

it depends on the stylist most will redo it because they want to keep you as a costumer or maybe shell make you pay like really cheap

maybe you should just ask and if she says youll have to pay the 60$

then go to kind of a cheap salon and tell them you want a trim since you already have most of the style and cut you want

Can I go back to get more hair cut off?

it depends..if i were a stylist n u decided to call me a weeks later to say u wanted more chopped than id probably still charge u but not that much..but if u had called me asap to tell me u werent happy than i wouldnt charge u at all..in the end it really depends on ur stylist n how she sees it

Can I go back to get more hair cut off?

im not a stylist but i did attend beauty school and have knowledge of most stylist . in this situation , your stylist should always give what you want. if youre not happy then they will and must cut your hair free of charge! and tip her something. so call her up and just simply tell her that you were not really happy with the haircut she gave you and that you would like to have more chopped off and she can see you to fix the problem. be sure that you talk to her about not charging you for fixing it.

Why do people bring their sick kids to get a haircut?

unless someone wants to pay the bills for the month for the stylist the kid should be HOME when it's sick. why get everyone at the salon sick because you want your kid's hair cut? can't it wait?

Why do people bring their sick kids to get a haircut?

I know what you mean, I used to do daycare and was always surprised at how some people would bring their kids even if they had fevers or were throwing up. Sick kids should be kept at home, so as not to make other kids/people sick too.

Why do people bring their sick kids to get a haircut?

I guess because they either don't care about others health or they just plain aren't thinking. It is inconsiderate though.

Why do people bring their sick kids to get a haircut?

I see your point, yes kids should stay home when they are sick! I also see the parents point as well, which don't make it right and yes it can wait. It's because they think they can squeeze things in, and get things done faster because they are too busy with their own lives and daily chores, jobs etc..

I would say to the store manager if possible, refuse to service them? I don't know who well that will go over, but you might want to look into it?

Otherwise I would go to a salon that has higher standards, and this way you will make more money and be happier. I know it's hard leaving all your friends etc.. but they don't pay your bills, or take care of your health. Good Luck

Why do people bring their sick kids to get a haircut?

I work in a restaurant and think the same thing when I see that a person is sick.

Stay home and open a can of soup!!

Picture in Mastercuts Salon?? How do I find it online?

I was in Mastercuts the other day with my daughter getting her hair cut and noticed a picture of a model on the wall and fell in love with the hairstyle. I was thinking I could probably go on their website and print a pic for my stylist however I have not been able to find it. Does anyone know how I might be able to find this pic online?? Is there a certain company that does their pictures?? Please help!!!!

Picture in Mastercuts Salon?? How do I find it online?

Um go back in and say, "Cut my hair like that model's plz". They should be able to so it. If not, I would call it false advertisement ;D

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

I think the color is too dark but I feel weird calling her to complain. I pay $170 for a cut and all over color at an Aevada salon. Is it rude for me to call and tell her I don't like the color?

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

Yeah, I think you have the right to complain about it. If you do it right, you might be surprised at the response you get from the stylist.

Most stylists don't want their customers unhappy. And they know that sometimes it will look great at first and then suddenly you see it in daylight and go YIKES!!

Speak kindly and show that you aren't being personal about it, and I bet it will be good.

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

I would tell her. And another thing...Never let your friends do your hair...hahahaa Report It

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

If you paid THAT much for it and you aren't satisfied then you have every right as a customer to call and complain, though it would have been better if you let her know while you were there.

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

Umm...$170...yes I would complain. You should have told her when you were there.

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

You should be ashamed of yourself for paying that much for a hairdo. Think about starving children in Africa.

.

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

Michele, you paid your hard earned money for a service and if this service is not to your expectations you have all rights for your voice to be heard. Its not rude for you to make a complaint, just use tact and initiative..

Go for it!!!!

Good luck in your decision!!

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

yeah

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

There is a difference between complaining and letting her know it's not to your style.

Even the best hairstylist can't always predict how a certain haircolor will look on certain facial features, eye colors or skin tones.

Granted a good majority of the time , they can. But, there is always those few times it does not.

Just go back and politely ask her to fix it. If you want to take the blame off of her, just say, " Everytime I look in the mirror, I can't get over how the dark hair color brings out the dark circles under my eyes. It's driving me crazy."

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

Go back to the salon and tell them in a calm way that you feel that the color is darker than you like. But sometimes that happens when you first get it done and lightens after it has been wash a few times.

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

No! not at all. dont yell at her. tell her calmly that it hasnt grown on you and you dont like it, you paid for a service to be done the way you wanted and for $170 you should get what you paid for. dont be rude just tell her you dont like what she has done and get it the way you want it, it's your hair why should you not like what you see in the mirror she gets clients everyday!

Would you complain to your stylist after having your hair done?

Lights in a salon are going to look different from lights at home, lights at the grocery store, sunlight, etc. It could be that color is dull, making it look darker at home than under the more direct light sources at the salon, and using a shampoo that is designed to increase the shine would help.

Although it isn't rude to call and complain after spending that much on a cut, if it hasn't been chemically treated, I don't think she would be able to lighten it. It should wash out gradually, so you might just give it a few days or a week or two to become a better color for you.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

My sister cut my hair for years, but she's moved away and I'm now going to a fairly upscale salon (at least for my small town). The person cutting my hair is the owner and she charges $40 for a cut and style. How much should I tip her? Do I tip her more if I decide to get color or a perm? Is it based on the amount I'm spending? I would really appreciate an overview, I haven't gone to a hair salon in over 20 years - yikes! Help!

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

I tip based on what service I get: %26amp;5.00 for a hair cut, $10.00 for a cut %26amp; style %26amp; $20.00 for a color.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

the amount that you feel is ok and not to muck 10 bucks that's all ways good

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

I would tip like 20%, more if they did a really good job.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

15-20%

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

Your getting a cut and style for $40?! Your crazy...i a hair stylist and I only charge about $22....and about my price about $5....if your willing to pay that, maybe $10...it should be 15-20% of original bill ....more or less depending on how much you like it...

if i were you, i would do a little bit of research on salons around your town and make sure your getting the best deal :)

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

about $5-$7 based on th $40, tip more for more services and don't forget the person who shampoos your hair.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

5 to 10 bucks depending on what you get done

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

Wait what happened to the rule that your not supposed to tip the owner of an establishment.? I was always taught that this was bad taste. It seems that when doing so you make the owner feel as tho they aren't doing well enough and need your donation.

And I agree $40 is way too much for me.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

I would give her 10 bucks and make it an even 50. She's the owner though, so maybe not. Use your own judgement. 40 bucks is just the point when stylists start to get good. The really good gay boys charge way more than that! 40 is the norm I usually pay here for cut and style.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

Depending on your hair and the hair stylist...If you have easy hair and you are easy to please then $5-$10. If you change your mind and they have to do more work, if you don't get it cut often and/or you are difficult to please 10-20. If that doesn't help do it like you do a waitress..15% for average service and 20%+ if very satisfied. Your money shows how you feel about your service in general.

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

I always tip $10

What is the amount that I should give to my hair stylist as a tip?

5$ is enough

as she is the owner so this much is enough

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

I flat iron my hair but i need some help with keeping the ends of my hair frizz free and super flat. The ends just wont go flat no matter how much i flat iron it. My hair is about medium length, some what straight and some what thick. It is also sort of poofy and i want it poof and frizz free. Please give me some semi inexpensive products. Also, when I get a hair cut, what should I ask my hair stylist to get my hair cut thin? Thanks!

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

If you have layers, the poofiness could be because of split ends. Even if you don't, it still sounds like split ends which is causing your hair to not lie perfectly flat. All you need to do is just go and ask your hair stylist to cut off your split ends and thin out your hair (she'll know what to do; stylists do this ALL the time... don't get your hair razor cut because that also causes bad split ends. I know from experience.)

As for products, SunSilk straightening cream (it's in the fat purple tube, you can get it in the haircare section of any supermarket) is probably your cheapest option for frizz-free hair.

Otherwise, save up and splurge on ghd's thermal protection cream (it's in a dark purple tube, available at salons only). It's AU$35 - I'm Australian - from my salon, so expect it to be about $8-10 cheaper than that if you're from the US. It is absolutely brilliant, but obviously a bit more expensive.

Remember to ALWAYS use a heat protection cream (like the cream from ghd or SunSilk) when straightening your hair, otherwise you'll end up with heaps of split ends.

Good luck!

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

go get sunsilk :)

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

ya i'm not sure which products you could use but tell your hair stylist to thin it out with a razor blade or texturing technique if they are good they'll know what you are talking about you might want to try some choppy layers to thin it out some

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

use non-frizz shampoo and deep condition it often. do u use the straitening cream after u iron it? well if u dont, u should it also helps!

How do I get flat, smooth, frizz free hair?

I agree - Sunsilk is the best!! Green is for Frizz - Go get it!
