What would I need tot ell my stylist to do..?

My hairdresser, she is good, but I need to tell her whether I will need my hair razored or what for tihs cut:

Tell your stylist you want your hair in layers. Possibly thinned and layered. With side-swept bangs. Your stylist should ask how long you want your layers to be. And yes your stylist should use a razor. Afterwards just have him/her straighten it. If you want, just print it out and bring it to your stylist.

Why dont you just take the actual picture in, she will know what to do. Hair dressers love it when you give them specific pictures like that.

but if you are trying to go for the scene look then do it yourself.

make sure to wet your hair! the biggest mistake people make is trying to cut it dry, and that will never give you an accurate idea of what you are doing.

take some scissors and start making layers in your hair. Make sure they are uneven and very choppy.

doing the back of your hair is really hard, so i generally get my friends to do the back

It depends on what cutting technique she is comfortable with. Also, it might depend on your stylist's age... that haircut is/was called a shag... the details may change a bit , the length may vary from person to person but it is definitely a shag.
