its hideous, lol.
so i tried going from medium brown, to highlighted brown (did it by myself..) it got red on the top...........
:(
so then i cut it like four inches shorter to get rid of my ashy brown ends...
then i went to a stylists you threw in some foils to get rid of some red.
well its still a bit strawberryish....but blonde and still brown at the same time! ahhhh
(don't worry this is all over a course of two-three months)
so what color to go to? im naturally blond (like dirtyish).....
brown faded so quickly, and red looks terrible with my skin tone (which is medium to pale) but with blond id have to use bleach and stuff
ahh help? Im going to japan for a year leaving this summer so what hair color should i stick with if im going to a land of darker hair?

I would have all sorts of OTHER suggestions if you hadn't mentioned that you were going out of the country. Your best best is to gradually get tint-backs to your natural color. You don't want high maintenance hair while you are out of the country! The reason is that different countries have different techniques of coloring/chemical services. When you come home, after a year of getting services done to maintain whatever you decide to do, your stylist here won't know what is built up in your hair. Even a lot of semi-permanant things (henna for example) can eventually become permanant with enough use because it penetrates deep into your cortex. You may get a service done and your hair can turn gummy, stringy and break off. best to stick with natural. Less to maintain and you will be happier in the long run.

I think you need to give your hair a rest as your hair has been over processed This may not seem like the best idea in the world but you should consider a wig Most wigs don't even look like wigs In a year's time your hair should be so much better as you have given it a rest from color, straightening etc.
