Problems with a stubborn hairdresser?

My hairdresser doesn't do what I want. She does what she wants, if I take in a picture she doesn't follow it. I'm afraid to go to another stylist for fear of my hair looking even crappier. I really want a scene hair cut and I don't know if I should go to another stylist.

If your hairdresser is not doing your hair accordingly, then you should definitely find a new one. Why pay for a cut that you know you won't like?

Ask around and see what hairdressers/stylists your friends and family can recommend.

u should definitely go to a different stylist. This is what happened to me too.I have wavy hair and i wanted a reely short haircut and my stylist wouldnt do it. sO....i just ditched her...and got another one.

It would be good if u goto salons taht have trainees since these trainees attend conferences on what is current and in style.

If that is how she left your hair, don't go back. But you must also realize, that just because you want what is in the picture you bring in, doesn't mean your hair will do it. But a good stylist would have explained that to you, and found something similar that your hair would do.

Find a new stylist, take more then one picture of what you would want as far as a hair style. That way they can pick the one that is best suited for your hair type, texture, and thickness.

If you have a very good stylist who has been doing this for a long time, she or he should be able to look at you and know what would look good with the shape of your face and fit your personality. Sometimes when you bring in a picture they freak because they are not talented enough to follow a picture, so you might think she is doing what she wants when maybe in fact she is trying to follow the picture and can't.
